 Biafra Project: Ifeany Uba not Speaking for Igbos—Human Rights Group

Human Rights activist and political analyst Ogbodo Emenike  has described the position of the Chairman of Capital Oil and Gas Industries Ltd, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, on Biafra as baseless and does not represent the interest of  the people of the Southeast region.

Emenike warned the people of Biafra to be very careful with some politician in the Igbo land whose interest basically on how to achieve their political ambition, stating that nobody, no matter how highly placed that would change the mass  movement of the Biafran people geared towards restoration of the sovereignty of Biafra republic.

Well, “It is the right of every individual to decide, Patrick Ifeanyi Uba has the right to stay in Nigeria but has no constitutional right to ask those who want to have their independent state not to so that, life is all about choice”

Emenike a Human Rights Activist who was speaking under the platform of the Preservation of Peoples Rights International, PPRI, said time has come when politician from eastern Nigeria should be carefully watched to avoid destroying to effort of the leaders of various Biafra groups.

He noted that Uba was trying to justify the business agreements he may be having with the federal government of Nigeria and a such should not be taken seriously because his views does not represent that of over 70 million people who genuinely and sincerely asking for the independent of Biafra.
