Police arrests Kidnappers involved in killing of Rev Father

The Enugu State Police command has recorded tremendous achievement in the last few days following the arrest of suspected kidnappers who were connected with the kidnap and murder of a Rev Father in Enugu State.

Police public Relation Officer,Mr Ebere Amarizu SP in a press statement made available to Journalists in Enugu said that Rev father Clmement Rapuluchukwu Ugwu, was a parish priest of St Marks’ Catholic Church, Obinofia Ndiuno in Eziagu local government area of the state.

Amarizu affirmed that the suspects who gave their names as Sunday Chibuko,age 32 years a native of Umuna Ndiagu in Eziagu local government area and Benjamin Osugwu age 28 years also held from Obolo Eke in Udenu local government area both were citizens of Enugu State.

The Enugu Police Spokesman, Mr Ebere Amarizu noted that the arrest of the suspected hoodlums were made through intelligence information at their hideout at Area I Gariki in Abuja federal capital city of Nigeria on 28th March, 2019 by the operatives of the command.
Amarizu also disclosed that the suspects were behind the bar and are helping the Enugu Police Command in their investigations with a view to arresting the remaining fleeing members of the gang, he stated.
