Why Nsukka Most Beautiful Girl contest will showcase Nsukka globally – CEO OCOWorld

Mr Okwudili Celestine Okwudili, Chief Executive Officer of OCOWorld Real Estate Management has expressed his readiness to empower and fish out hidden talents in youths.

Okwudili said this in Nsukka while briefing newsmen on his plan to organize the 2020 edition of Nsukka Most Beautiful Girl competition by December.

The CEO of OCOWorld also said that his organisation will be partnering with Bet-9ja to organize the 2020 edition of 5-aside football competitions in Enugu North senatorial district.

According to Okwudili the aim of both competitions is to showcase Nsukka to the outside world as well as unlock the full potentials of youths in the area.

The main aim is to showcase Nsukka to the world and also discover the hidden talents among youths.

“OCOWorld has made name in estate management, media, entertainment sectors and has no intention to make profit from organizing these competitions but to provide an avenue and platform for youths to unlock their potentials and market themselves to the entire world”.

“the organization has continue to receive commendations and applause on the maiden edition of both competitions from people across the country and in diaspora”.

” OCOWorld will continue to give back to the society through these social corporate responsibilities,”he said.

Okwudili urged the elites in Nsukka senatorial zone not to see the beauty pageant competition as OCOworld personal issue but as collective project targeted towards showcasing talent of youths to the world.

Speaking, Mr Chukwuemeka Idoko Coordinator of the 5-aside and chairman Nigeria Football Federation in Nsukka said the competition was slated to hold between October and November when ban on football activities as result of COVID-19 pandemic might had been lifted by Federal Government.

“The competition will obey all protocols and guidelines as may be released by Federal Ministry of Sports.
“Last year the prizes won were N300,000, N200,000 and N150,000 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively, but this year 1st position will smile home with N500,000, 2nd N300,000, and 3rd N150,000,” Idoko said.

Also speaking, Comrade Kingsley Nwosu the Entertainment Manager of OCOWorld, promised that the beauty pageant competition would be transparent, open as well as serve as an avenue to showcase beautiful and talented girls in Enugu North district.

Nwosu assured that judges that would be umpire during the beauty contest are men and women of enviable track record.

” N7,000 is the cost of picking the form for the beauty competition and winner of 2020 edition on December 30, will smile home with a brand new exotic car, while the first and second runner-ups will go home with N300,000 and N200,000 respectively.

In a remark, Miss Mirabel Ugwu , the current Beauty Queen and winner of Miss Nsukka 2019 competition organized by OCOworld urged ladies in the area to feel free and avail themselves of the opportunity to showcase their beauty and talents to the world.

“I am a living witness the competition in 2019 was, open, transparent and competitive, I know it will be the same in this 2020 edition.
